This oil deserves its 5 stars and I deserve a kick in the pants. Why the kick? Because I’ve known about “rosa mosqueta” (aka rosehip seed oil) for years, even living for many years in South America next door to Chile, where this oil became a skin treatment sensation in the 1980s. Younger then and definitely not wiser, I just ignored the product. Now I wish I had started using this years ago, instead of just weeks ago. I could be looking “younger than springtime” rather than just OK for my age.
Last week I received a (huge) bottle of Jarosa Rosehip Seed oil to review. I’m not going to lie, I was a bit skeptical because I’d never really heard about it and I am a pretty die hard coconut oil user. I did a little research and a bit of eye rolling. Then I used it. This stuff is amazing!!! It is very light and doesn’t leave me feeling greasy at all, I don’t feel like my pores are clogging up with use, and even when using it in my hair it doesn’t weigh it down as much as coconut oil did.
After using this oil for well over a month now the verdict is 5 stars! It softened and smoothed skin, especially areas around fingernails where it not only softened the skin but has strengthened my nails which prior to use were easily broken.
It has also shown to be effective in giving facial skin a softer, more glowing appearance.

That’s right. You can actually read all the ingredients. They are natural, safe and non-toxic.

I have found my holy grail of lip balms.
Jarosa Beauty Bee Organic Peppermint Lip Balm is my new obsession. Now, what you need to know is I actually don’t like minty flavored.. well, anything, aside from toothpaste. I wasn’t very excited about getting this lip balm for review and I was prepared to use it a coupe of times, write an honest review and then toss it to the back of my cosmetic cabinet.
This lip balm tingles when first applied, with a delightful peppermint fragrance and a sense that it is actually doing something, which it is! Not only is this lip balm soothing and protective for the lips in extreme weather, but it’s also surprisingly refreshing, and lip-plumping. In just a few minutes, visible results can be seen as tiny cracks in the lips disappear, bringing forth a fullness to the lips. With such noticeably active ingredients, this is the moment when one is reassured that thankfully, this product is 100% organic, with natural ingredients that are safe to ingest, when inevitably some of this product makes its way inside the body.
One of my favorite things about this lip balm is that I can look at the list of ingredients and recognize them all. It contains all organic ingredients and to me that’s very important. I like to know what I’m putting on my body, especially on my lips and face. The balm itself is smooth and went on well. It was firm enough to have some substance but not so thick that my lips felt waxy. I think the consistency is spot on. The peppermint was a bit strong for me at first and if you have a low tolerance for mint oils, you might find it almost a bit too much, but it evened out pretty quickly and simply felt refreshing. If you’re a fan of peppermint, you will love this balm. I received a free sample tube in exchange for an honest review and I’m looking forward to seeing more from this company.
than the belief that she is beautiful.
